It was my first day of university and ofc, I'm late because I slept late last night. I was busy selecting an outfit 😁for today and thinking about how my first day would be. So yeah, now I'm late.
I woke up from the bed , took a shower , wore the outfit I had selected and I did little bit of makeup because no matter how late I'm, I've still got to look pretty( ik I'm pretty, but still😁). I wore a cute white top with blue floral pattern on it and jeans, with my hair open and golden studs in ears with small pendent in neck.

After that, I came downstairs and went straight into the kitchen . Where mom was cooking breakfast and dad was sitting on a chair at the dining ,reading the newspaper. I hugged mom and then dad . I was in rush, so I skipped breakfast and rushed to the gate.
" Beta , atleast sit and have your breakfast!" Avni said from the behind.
" Nahh, maa, I'm getting late, I'll eat in cafeteria, don't worry." I replied while rushing towards the gate.
" Go safely beta. Do you want some money? I'll transfer some in your account." Rajveer said from the behind.
I was waiting for my cab . Yeah , I'd booked it already because I was getting late. And yeah, ofc , my bad luck- my cab got canceled . Now I'm chasing auto.
And finally , after minutes , i found an auto and the driver agreed for the ride. Ofc , I've bad luck , so how can I reach university on time ? I was stuck in traffic ! Now I'm so late , most probably I will miss my 1st lecture.
I was lost in my thoughts while heading to university when suddenly I heard a loud sound . It was a sports bike - a boy , maybe about 23 ,24 years old,was riding it. I couldn't see his face because he was wearing a helmet. Huh, just rich kids flexing this Father's money, attention seeker!
Finally I reached at the university. As soon as I paid yo the auto driver , I rushed towards my class and ofc, it was my first day ,so , I couldn't find my class on time. Bad luck as always.
Thank god I found a guy who knew where my class was , so he helped me .
One thing was going good- that my bestfriends Tanvi and Kevin were studying with me in the same university . Tanvi and I were doing the same course fashion designingand Dev was into AI and technology.
I was about to reach my class and i saw Tanvi . So I wasn't the only one who was late on first day . As soon as Tanvi saw me, she felt relief, haha same as me. Now I don't care about getting late because my bestfriend is also late.
After that, we attended our lectures and now we're free. And even Dev was free . So we decided to roam around in campus and then we'll hit the cafeteria for food bcz I'm damn hungry.
We were on our way to cafeteria , but we saw some seniors were ragging a junior girl. There were a few boys throwing her notebook around , and that girl was trying to catch it. Two senior girls were standing there, laughing at that little girl( bitches).
When I sifted my gaze , I saw a boy , maybe 23-24 years old, tall, with an emotionless face, muscular,full of attitude. Ofc, he was also a senior . He was standing there with his arms crossed, leaning back to relax on the bike behind him. Idk why and where but I thought I'd seen that bike before....the sports one , anyways .
One boy was standing beside him, watching all this . Then I saw there was one girl standing beside that bike boy,standing so close- maybe she was his gf bcz she was clinging to him.
I snapped out of my thoughts . I'm Shreya Singhania - ofc I can't let anything wrong happen in front of me, so I decided to fight for that girl. I handed my bag to Tanvi and told them to wait for me .
I went straight to that guy who was holding that girl's notebook and I snatched it from him,giving it back to her . Like- I'm not scared of that guys ( like yeah, I'm not even scared of my dad ,then why them?). That guy was looking at me sith full of anger and ik he was annoyed . And I liked that.
" What the hell are you doing?" He growled , glaring at me.
" Nothing much , just doing what i should do. Saving that girl and her notebook from your ragging," I replied with a fake , teasing smile dripping with sarcasm.
" Someone's gotta teach you guys some manners. Guess it's gonna be me today." I added.
" You wanna teach me?" He said , voice low and deathly." You don't even know who I'm."
I raised an eyebrow" should I be impressed? Ik who you are . You are just a spoiled jerk."
" Is that girl something to you? Do you know her? Just stay out of our matter , or else you'll pay for it." He said, voice dripping with anger.
I can clearly see that he was angry and I'm enjoying it.
" Oh really? You think I'll backdown just because of your silly threats? Ofc not. You can try doing whatever you want." I said with a sarcastic tone and a smirk.
Without waiting for his reply, I just left from there, walking towards Tanvi and Dev who were standing there watching all this with proud face. I took my bag from Tanvi and took last glanceover that bike boy who was just glaring at me the whole time, Without even blinking.
On our way to cafeteria , Tanvi and Dev were just praising me non -stop.
" yaaas, Shreya ! You totally owned that guy!" Tanvi squealed.
Dev chimed in, " And did you saw his face ? Priceless!"
I rolled my eyes, laughing " Guys , chill, it was nothing! " but I couldn't help the grin on my face.
After the hype, we headed to the cafeteria and grabbed some breakfast . The food was pretty lit, and we managed to catch up on some gossip . After breakfast, we attended our remaining lectures.
Lectures were over, we decided to hit the library to get some work done. Later , we ditched the books and jammed to some tunes at Dev's place. Music > study session, always . And ofc some gossipes. That's how the day ended.
